Job type:  Therapist (Associates in their final year and Fully-Licensed)

Location:  Southeast Houston

Hours per week:  24-40 hours per week

This is what you’ll do as a therapist at Illuminated Pathways Family Therapy:

As a therapist, you are responsible for providing mental health care to clients.  You will see roughly 5-6 clients for each day you work with us: but never more 30 per week, when working full-time.  A typical day walking into the office, consulting any matter with your colleague(s), and then diving into your hour long sessions.  After your sessions, you finish writing the notes you had for the day.  Once you finish your administrative duties, you can specialize in another area of your choosing: Marketing, Clinical Research, and Holistic Health.

Who we are looking for:

In terms of a profile, we are looking for someone who understands our mission and value and subscribes to our core beliefs in restoring the family unit to God’s original design.  We are looking for a therapist with a passion for helping the family unit as a whole, which means you enjoy working with children, teens, young adults, married couples, etc.  Of course, every therapist has his/her preference in clientele, but you understand that restoring mental health in families is the key to mental health for each individual in the long run.  We are looking for someone who has a hands-on mentality, strong social skills and likes to have innovative ideas on how to improve our treatment plans or organizational growth. 

This is where you will work:

Illuminated Pathways Family Therapy, LLC is a professional organization; right now, it consists of a Licensed Professional Counselor, that specializes in TF-CBT, Addictions, SYMBIS, Imago, and other maladaptive behaviors. We want to make sure everyone’s work-life balance is in order, and that means that our organization does not do crisis calls/interventions after hours.  We all work hard when we are on the job but also believe in respecting our team’s private life when we are off the clock.  Our working hours are from Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and Wednesday is the only day we leave open for a late evening – 9am-8pm.  The office is closed on Sundays. 

Job Requirements

·       You are a licensed therapist (either provisionally licensed as an associate in your final year or fully licensed) in the state of Texas (BHEC).

·       You are willing to see clients both in person as well as virtual (telehealth), although the majority will be in-person.

·       You are excited about working with different groups of people, ages, and demographics.

·       You are willing to work Saturdays initially, but you will be free every Monday in return.  If you prefer to change this Monday through Friday, you can do so after an initial onboarding period and meeting your target clients.

·       You recognize yourself in the mission and vision statement of our organization, as well as our statement of faith.  These can be found on our website (illuminatedpathways-therapy.com). 

·       A starting salary 3,750.00 – 5,000.00 per month.  (starting from 45K per year), depending on your license and experience. (Based on a 40-hour work week)

·       The ability to work part-time or full-time with a minimum of 24 hours per week.

·       If you are an Associate/Provisionally Licensed and need supervision, this organization can accommodate with a Supervisor on site.
